I would not bother as it is not only against the law to leave a motor vehicle unattended when running but it will make the car SOOOOO easy to nick, also in MOST cases your insurance will be void Andy | |

| The problem with remote start is that you have to glue the transponder for the immobiliser to the ignition coil reader in most cases so if some scrote wanted to pinch it then you have made his job of about 1min easy by about 40 seckonds as he no longer has to bypass the factory immobiliser.
A few quotes.... Negligent use of a motor vehicle - Prosecutable Unattended - engine running or brake not set Driver not in proper control of vehicle
The offence is against S42 of the RTA 1988.
This section deals with Construction & Use offences.
Quitting is dealt with by Regulation 107(1) of The Road Vehicles (Constriction and Use) Regulation 1986 (SI 1986/1078 )
at the end of the day i like to think i make my car as hard to nick as i can so for that reason I AM OUT
